Viruses infected your computer and they are trying to take over your system...
You are a firewall and your task is to prevent that from happening - Build poster robots to gain back control of your computer's memory, build hacker robots to sabotage the virus controlled memory and use your wreckers to seek and destroy nasty virus robots.
Defend your memory even more by building drones and bases to gain back control of your computer. Get ready for some virus blasting action!

Firewall is an RTS, or Real Time Stategy, game. Viruses have invaded your computer, and you must use your resources to battle them, and drive them out. You must delete the viruses in against-all-odds situations to power up your robots for future battles. Use your resources wisely, and you can rid your memory of those pesky viruses.
In each battle, you play on a memory chip. The chip is divided into bytes of memory. Each square that you see is one byte of memory. To take control of a byte of memory, you must have a post on each corner of the byte. You can create posts by building Poster Robots. These robots walk around and build posts of your color, but only next to your existing posts. When the game starts, each virus, plus yourself, is in control on one byte of memory. A Basik Poster will be built for you automatically.
To take control of memory bytes that the viruses control, you must build Hacker robots to hack at the virus posts. Hackers go around and lower all virus posts. You can then have a Poster robot build posts on those places, so you then control those memory bytes.
To destroy enemy robots you must build Wreckers. Wreckers can patrol around a certain area, or have them guard certain robots. They will rid the area of virus robots to allow you to take over the memory controlled by the viruses.
To delete a virus, you must take away all bytes of memory that they own. Enough posts must be destroyed so they control no more memory. The viruses will do all they can to control your memory, and who knows what they will set their sites on next...
