Asteroid Miner is a space-based strategy/shooter where you must mine the asteroids around you for precious metals to sell, in order to upgrade your ship with the latest weapons and equipment. To complete a level you need to earn a fixed amount of money, either from mining or bounty from destroying rival miners. Working against you is a small fleet of Rival mining ships equipped with a variety of weapons. You can mind your own business and mine the asteroids for money, or actively seek out the opposition and hunt them down for bounty payments.
