The WorldTreasureQuest game is about finding treasures from real geographical locations and periods in world history. The goal of the game is to collect treasure by playing 3D game modules, each based on a theme, such as ancient Rome or modern day Grand Canyon. The player is guided with text and voice help in one of 20 languages describing real facts and history about the location, period in history and the treasure object.

In order to go on treasure quests the player must earn money, which they do by taking challenges. Challenges are simple 2D puzzles based on any subject, geography, math, language, science, etc.

The general concept of the game is there is a home scene which is used as a place to navigate to one of several quests within the game. It is within these quests that most of the game play takes place. On completion of a quest, the player returns to the home scene.

Limitations:

It is a playable game but is far from complete. This demo is to show the future capabilities of the game and to get people interested in developing and translating content.
