New version 3.8
New features:
Windows installations no longer require that Apple's Quicktime be installed on the users machine. This would also cause problems accessing files when a simulation is started.
Fixes:
High altitude aborts no longer end a simulation with a “Incorrect entry attitude was reached” error.
Joystick Hat switches are now supported on Windows. These can be programmed to pan and rotate the external view window.
Sub-panel selection using the mouse now works for monitors larger than 1024x768. When using larger monitors, certain sub-panels could not be opened by clicking on the main panel.
No more error messages when fast forwarding for extended periods of time.
Countdown does not restart the count checklist any more.
The Freedom 7 capsule is now properly orientated. Previous versions were incorrectly rolled 180°.
Saving a blank panel set no longer prevents sub-panel selection via the keyboard.
Launch vehicle and spacecraft remain centered in external view window during all phases of flight.
When installing on Windows XP, some user account setups prevented access to required files during startup. This version makes sure all installed files are accessible to all accounts. It is possible to still have problems accessing these files if a user account is incorrectly set up. If you are still receiving a message indicating that items are missing, please go to the support page on the web site for specific instructions on how to fix the user account setup issue.
