just came out...yesterday...tried the demo for about 15 minutes & purchased with an additional Game Club credit.

my review (shorter version):

it's listed as an Hidden Object Game (HOG) but it plays more like a point-and-click adventure lite and lasts a good while; not as long as it could have been, but not 1 hour & you ate up your money's worth. some reported finishing in 4 hours, but most said they played between 6-8 hours, which is decent for an HOG. i haven't finished so i can't attest to that.

the graphics are pretty nice; good story; hidden object portions are not too easy/not too difficult and they relate well to the story; sound's okay, i think (i tend to turn it off...oops, sorry); some decent, witty dialog; plenty of diverse mini-games; lots of different things to do/see; defintely NO boredom factor.

the only downside i (and others) found was no explanation on the mini-games (a couple i hadn't seen before), and hitting the "hint" button just solved it and sent you on your way.

my first loves are Myst, Broken Sword, Syberia, etc. type games...it took me awhile to warm up to HOGs due to their lack of requiring me to use my brain very much and their short length...this is one of the first HOGs i've stopped, purchased & wrote 2 reviews (one at BigFish, the other at Gamezebo) about, within the first 15 minutes.

of all the reviews written at BigFish forums (mine included) there were only 1 or 2 people who didn't care for it because of all the nifty features. they wanted a more simple, casual, seek, find, click, you're done type game.

i thoroughly enjoyed this & recommend it highly.
